What is an Ultrasound?
Veterinary ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to view soft tissues and organs without radiation exposure. Ultrasound images are captured in real time, allowing us to see the structure and movement of your pet's internal organs and blood flow.
What are X-rays?
X-rays use low-dose radiation to capture high-resolution images of bones and muscular tissues. We use radiographs to diagnose conditions including broken bones, chronic arthritis, bladder stones, spinal cord diseases, and some tumors.
Both ultrasound and X-rays are non-invasive and pain-free, which allows veterinarians to assess internal health without discomfort to your pet.
